After effing about with the WSUS and SCCM for ages, having gotten it to run once, and after a reinstall wasting another half a day trying to get the synch to run, following the tip to run iexplore.exe as local and getting rid of the auto proxy search option was a gold tip! It solved my problem, and saved me from grey hair. Thank you so much for this!!! (Why this is not on the MS Knowledge base, I guess I will never know)
